Had a great Experience to start with test drove one vehicle and requested another from the Brooklyn Park location to test drive. The car was transferred to Maplewood at 6:17 that night. The next day, I called to schedule a test drive and was told the car just arrived and needed to go through final inspection. I asked how that was possible when I knew from their app it arrived 6:17 the Night before. Sales associate did not have an answer and I asked to speak with the manager.. He stated the same. I asked when it got there he said it just arrived. I quoted the app and asked how that was possible he again said it just arrived. My experience was full of lies and deceit and makes me question what they are selling. On top of that, the manager “Tony” was rude and disrespectful of my questions!! It ended up that a wiper blade needed to be replaced after many questions and much time getting the information. This is understandable, but the lies, deceit and attitude were not. Call made to Customer Service but have not received a response from someone above the store manager at this time! If they lie about one thing they are lying about more! Use caution!!

I made an appointment and visited their local store to sell them my almost new Toyota Highlander. The salesperson was polite, on time and spent 10 minutes photographing the car. With less than 5000 miles there is not much to document as it is like new. I never got any response despite being promised a same day quote/offer. A week later and still no response and waiting on hold for 30 minutes a day got old. See ya

This was the quickest and easiest way to sell my Honda van. I checked several other online sales sites. The CarMax offer was $2600 more than offers from the other sites and the dealer's trade-in. With my offer in hand, I set my appointment to have my Honda appraised at the nearest CarMax location. Three hours later, I was depositing the payment voucher at my bank. With their friendly staff, selling a car can't be any easier.

I did not end up purchasing a vehicle at this store only because they did not have the specific truck I was looking for. My wife and I had a great customer experience with Sean and Eva. I can't say enough good things about their great customer service. I will definitely return to this store for any future vehicle purchases. If you do stop in ask for Sean.

Buying process was smooth and easy. Found what I wanted and picked up the same day. The issue lies on the fact that it's been over a year and I never received license plates. Sent all info required and the plates never showed up. Today I have had the truck for over a year and still have temp tags. Went to the local dealer to ask about the plates and was told that I will have to purchase them along with tabs because FedEx lost the package. 40k for a truck and after paying tax title and license I'm not also required to go to the DMV and pay for the plates and tabs myself. Due to this and a few other issues I will not be back or recommending CarMax in the future.
